2nd. Annual Mad Dash in May

The first 50 racers to signup and pay for the 10K or 5K race will receive a special lightweight Dri Weave runner's shirt! These shirts are very comfortable. Take it from a fellow runner - these shirts are very comfortable and making running a joy. If you sign up and pay for your race, we will email you and let you know that you will be receiving a special shirt.

Also the Mad Dash is upping the ante for our overall winners. The first place overall men and women from the 10K and 5K races will be receiving a $100 cash prize. 2nd. place in each category is $50 and 3rd place gets $25.

10K Race (starts at 7:00 am)
5K Race (starts at 7:05 am)
1 Mile Family Fun Walk (starts after all 10K/5K racers have completed)

The weather will be fully heated up this time of the year so we will be starting at 7:00 am for the 10K racers. 5 minutes later, we will start the 5K racers. After all the 10K and 5K racers have finished, we will start the 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk. That should be around 8:15 am.

Mountain Falls - C.A.A.S. Road Entrance, Pahrump, NV (Directions)
For those who are not familiar with Mountain Falls, it is a private residential and golf course community. They take pride in having one of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses Southern Nevada has to offer. We are very fortunate to have Mountain Falls allow us access to their wonderful neighborhood. Mountain Falls has expressed interest in making this and The Running of the Turkeys in November, another Westside Racing LLC 5K event, an annual tradition. The gold course community sits on the Western base of the Spring Mountain range. This event is featured among a very scenic and beautifully managed community. The early morning start time will simply add to the beauty of this event.

You register here and you will have to send in your payment via mail.
Check-in will be the night before (Friday, May 21) at the Clubhouse at the race track from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. We highly recommend you check in at this time because of the early start time of the race. However, for those who cannot make it, we will start check-in Saturday morning at 6:00 am and finish by 6:45 am.

5K - The 5K race will start at the security shack entrance. We will be running on paved road throughout the Mountain Falls community. It is an open course with little neighborhood traffic to worry about. The course is relatively flat with the exception of one decent uphill/downhill grade.

10K - The first three miles of the 10K race is flat and fast. The second half of the course follows the 5K. The entire course is run on paved roads.

Family Fun Walk - The Fun Walk will start 5 minutes after the last 5K/10K runner has left the finish line and will walk the pre-determined course till crossing the finish line.

Awards will be given to the top overall Male and Female in both races. Age group awards will be given to both male and female divisions as follows:

20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60+
